Lynn has been training dogs and teaching people for more than 30 years. In addition to being a graduate of the esteemed Karen Pryor Academy as a Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP), she holds professional certifications as a Fear Free Certified Professional Trainer, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA, CCFT, Fit Paws Master Trainer, CTDI, TTouch L1 Practitioner,& AKC CGC/STAR evaluator. Additionally, Lynn is a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Lynn started her career in the veterinary industry as a Veterinary Technician and Practice Manager and from there, started training and showing her dogs in AKC Obedience. Lynn’s passion is about the human-animal bond, created and nurtured by clear communication and positive reinforcement. Committed to training both dogs and people with R+ methods, she is also committed to continuing education. She attends behavior conferences and training seminars regularly, bringing the most up-to-date information to her clients and patients.
Lynn has titled dogs in multiple sports including AKC, CDSP & WCRL. Canine Conditioning, Trick Training for Performance Sports, Agility, Obedience & Therapy are some of her other interests for her own and client dogs. As a Fear Free Veterinary Professional, she combines training with behavior modification to help pets have more positive experiences when visiting their Veterinarian. Lynn shares her home with five dogs (two rescues and three golden retrievers), chickens, horses, geese, and her incredibly talented and patient husband.
