Effective February 10th, 2025, several major roads in Johnston County will receive new names as a part of the North Carolina’s Department of Transportation’s redesignation of US 70 Bypass to Interstate 42 (I-42). This includes renaming our area of NC 42 West to Veterans Parkway.
